New - O3A Flare

The new O3A Flare plugin provides a detailed visualisation of an O3A audio scene. And it can be used with the View/ViewVR applications!

This plugin appears in version 2.0.2 of the free O3A Core plugin pack.

Unlike the other visualisers in the O3A Core, this plugin uses an active frequency-domain analysis of the audio scene and so can produce quite precise estimates of sound locations, but works best with fairly sparse scenes.

When O3A Flare is used with View/ViewVR the visualisation is overlaid on the video so you can see where sounds are relative to the image. This works with both View (in a window) and ViewVR (in VR). You can use O3A Flare this way at the same time as one of the panner plugins.
